Meet the Founder
Many years ago, I found myself facing the unimaginable—searching for a safe place for myself and my two children after my family lost our home. With no room for me and my two children, and after hearing “no” again and again, I made the painful decision to enter a shelter alone so my children could be safe. That experience changed my life. Through prayer and perseverance, I turned survival into service—giving back to shelters, volunteering in the Detroit community, and serving those in need beyond the holidays.
In January 2026, God made the vision clear. I began distributing backpacks filled with essentials and sharing meals with our unhoused neighbors, offering dignity, care, and human connection. What started with one outreach has grown into a mission to serve our unhoused sisters and brothers consistently, not just in moments of crisis—but every day.
